How can Dactari help?
Domestic abuse: what you need to know
We are offering a range of video training, based on the Foundation Course in Domestic Abuse Counselling. These resources provide insight into the knowledge required for domestic abuse counselling, but without the tutorials, case studies and/or role plays which provide the experiential aspect of the training. These video's can be purchased individually or as a training package associated with a specific topic. Have a look and see what would work best for you!
We offer two types of online or in-person, experiential training:
- The Foundation Training Course in Domestic Abuse Counselling, which provides everything you need to start domestic abuse counselling, is taught online in a cohort of between 4 and 12 trainees over 4-days and is suitable for individual counsellors/psychotherapists;
- The Expert Series training packages, are specially designed to meet the needs of organisations who want additional specialist training in working with domestic abuse and mental health. This training can be delivered through general introductory workshops or counsellor training programmes, in-person or online.
